| good afternoon friends. I'm actually into shoes and I was searching as far as something that singular model. The prices seeking the sneakers are all over 220 dollars everwhere. But for all I base this location selling them as a remedy for half price. I really like those prada sneakers. I will definetly purchase those. what can you tell me about these? |

| I can tell you they cost about £3 to make and ship, and the rest is pure profit for a company in Italy. What are you wanting to know about them? |

I will watch with interest where this goes..... | It is true though. These cost the same to make as a pair of Sketchers or anything else. They are made in slum factories in India, Mexico and China, usually side by side with no-name stuff.
People have forgotten that 50+ years ago, good clothes were expensive because of the relative expense of the materials and the numebr of manhours that went into making them, and that a brand was something that was built through reputation of impeccable quality, style and shape. Foreign slum labour and mechanised mass production has reducted the cost of mass manufacturing significantly.
Nowadays a fashion brand is an image choice, which in itself is not a problem, but happily paying a 50000% profit on a pair of shoes is for the birds.
Now if you were paying £150 for a pair of handmade shoes like Alfred Sargent, Grensons or Barkers, then you could understand the manhours, finest quality leathers and care in the production that goes into them drives up the cost.

I don't doubt you, I doubt the OPs credentials. I smell a rat! _________________ No 80 was great. Back one day, bye for now. |

Absolutely. A Whois on that site leads knowhere except to suspecting it is a fake or selling fake shoes. Also the OP's email address is a bounce to pradas.info, another shoes sales website, and they whois back to the same hosting company, and hidden source. Combined with the BabelFish first post, I'd say spam.

| Nah, Chinese fakes. Posted in the correct forum, so there must be something intelligent at the other end. |

On the basis that the OP's email address is linked to the particular brand that he discusses in his post - and because it is nothing to do with cars at all - I've decided to act swiftly and decisively (unlike the politicians in this country) and will lock this thread immediately. _________________ Charles
